The Chairman of the Board of the Internal Security Equipment Fair (IGEF), Mr. Zeki Erdoğan, together with his accompanying delegation, paid an official visit to the Defence Attaché of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to the Republic of Türkiye, Brigadier General Mohammed Iftequr Rahman.
During the meeting, the internal security-focused structure, strategic significance, and objectives of the 2nd IGEF Fair—scheduled to be held in Ankara from 18 to 20 September 2025—were discussed in detail. The parties exchanged views on strengthening bilateral cooperation between Türkiye and Bangladesh in the fields of internal security, institutional collaboration, technological exchange, and operational know-how.
The long-standing friendship between Türkiye and Bangladesh was underlined, with emphasis placed on the potential for deepening multifaceted cooperation through tangible initiatives in the areas of public order and internal security.
