Dear Participants and Stakeholders,
In its second year, IGEF – Internal Security Equipment Fair has evolved into more than just an exhibition; it has become a vision, a shared platform, and a significant step toward becoming a regional hub for security technologies.
This year, not only the scale but also the spirit of IGEF has been renewed. Under the auspices of our Ministry of Interior, and with the strong support of the Presidency of Defence Industries, the General Directorate of Security, the Gendarmerie General Command, the Coast Guard Command, AFAD, the Directorate General of Migration Management, and all relevant institutions, we have worked intensively to organize a much broader and more impactful event.
Compared to last year, we have made remarkable progress in both content and international participation. IGEF has now become more than a product showcase—it has transformed into a multidimensional platform where international cooperation is established, policies are debated, and the future vision of security is shaped. This transformation has been made possible by months of meticulous planning, strategic engagements, and close communication with our industry stakeholders.
Bringing together global law enforcement authorities, security technology manufacturers, and decision-makers, IGEF now plays a more assertive role in promoting Turkey’s capabilities and vision in the security industry to the world. The participation of more official delegations this year is a clear indicator of the trust and growing interest in Turkish industry.
IGEF is not just a fair; it is now a center for knowledge exchange and visionary dialogue. Through panels, sessions, and technical presentations, we are also hosting the intellectual core of the security sector. We have established a comprehensive dialogue platform on the future of security with universities, research institutions, policymakers, and representatives from the private sector.
IGEF is no longer a routine calendar event—it is a strategic meeting point for internal security. Thanks to the structural steps we have taken this year, I am fully confident that we will build an even stronger and more influential IGEF in the coming years.
